Can I ask if anyone has seen a few different people around here? There names are Ichimi, Jiro, and Sante. They all wear numbered hoodies; you'd notice them. Oh, and there's Kaneki, too. He wears an eye patch so he'd stand out, too. There's also Hinami-chan. She's thirteen, so she shouldn't be out wandering by herself.

[But in the event that none of them are here...]

The name's Banjou. Banjou Kazuichi.

What is this place? Why was a strange woman telling me that she's my mother? Why was there a beaver inside a tiny ball?

[And this is where he rubs at his head, looking around for a moment before focusing back on the camera.]

Where's the music coming from?

...one more question. I'm just asking, but is it possible to wake up without bad injuries? I'm talking really bad here, like broken limbs or giant wounds. That kind of thing.

Well, I lost one of my legs, and that's still gone. It's long since healed and been replaced, though, so maybe that's it -- I don't think I've ever heard of someone showing up badly injured here.

That makes sense, if it's an old injury. What I was asking was more... what if it just happened?

But if no one's ever shown up injured maybe it's nothing to worry about.

Yeah, no... Even when people do get injured here, it doesn't last too long with the proper care. The pokemon centers are great for treating people, too.

Some people... They do come here after they've died. But they remember dying and I... I definitely wasn't dead, any of the times I was brought here.

[He's... well, he's not actually certain what happened to him back there. That's something to keep in mind.]

This doesn't look like any afterlife I've ever heard of.

Me neither. I don't think it is the afterlife, though. Sometimes you go home and spend time there before being brought back. I had five years pass after going home, which probably doesn't happen if this is supposed to be where the dead go.

You wouldn't think so, no. Plus you don't remember dying so that doesn't sound possible.

I don't know how being dropped off into a different place is possible-- it sounds like something out of a movie.

They have a TV show like that here! It's...for kids, though. [Like he wasn't going to watch something called Dragon-Type Tales at least once, let's be real.] We didn't have movies back on Berk, so it was really unexpected.

[He gives a sheepish shrug.]

Definitely possible since this is real, just, er, couldn't tell you how.

[...honestly, Banjou never had a chance to watch television growing up. Living on the streets will do that. He'd probably give it a try, too.]

I haven't heard of Berk before, where is it?

Berk is far, far away from anything any of you would call civilization, up north where it's cold basically all year round and just a handful of islands.

But the reason you've never heard of it is because maps of your world wouldn't have it anywhere, even if people had explored every inch. I live somewhere else, in another world. A world with Vikings and dragons.

[The word 'Viking' sounds familiar. He's probably heard of it in passing, but there's no real attachment to it. That's no big deal, though, because there's a lot of things that Banjou isn't really aware of and besides, he's said something much more interesting.]

You have dragons where you're from? Real, live dragons?

Those are the ones.

[It was still a shame that so many people didn't know the wonders of real, live dragons.]

They have dragons here, too. Nothing exactly like back home, but I'd say they're a crowd-pleaser.

[Oh no he wants a dragon. It will get so many pets.]

What are they called? I'll keep an eye out for them.

There's a few of 'em, but I don't think you can catch any of them in the area.

Buuuut you've got the Bagon line, the Dratini line... And then you've got things like Altaria, which is a dragon, but it looks like a bird, and Charizard, which looks like a dragon but isn't called one. It's pretty strange, but you get used to it, eventually.

If you're lucky, maybe someone will be selling eggs, soon. There is the Breeding Centre, but I don't know how many dragons they actually have...

[None of these mean anything to him, but that just means that he'll have to keep a look out, won't he? It should be interesting, maybe. But he doesn't know what he's going to do with the whole... collecting lots of different Pokemon thing.]

Where's the Breeding Centre? I'll have to take a look.
