[Well this does involve playing Dance Dance Eeveelution with Naki, so it's probably going to be bad in an entirely different way...
Anyway, he'll actually be there on time and he's already staked out the machine and is scrolling through the songs. There are a few Inkays floating around nearby, so it looks like Naki's brought his entourage.]
Banjou hasn't brought any of his Pokemon along, though he has seen Naki's Inkays around before. To be honest, he's still not sure why Naki wants to spend time around him, but then again Naki was never like Ayato or Yamori in terms of sheer antagonism and terror.]
[Naki grins and stops messing with the machine long enough to properly respond to Banjou.]
Glad you didn't stand me up! I've tried to get the Inkays to play before but they're directionally challenged. I mean that was when I had four of 'em and gave them each one arrow to press - you'd think they could've managed that! It made sense that one couldn't play by itself, but four of 'em? They really should've been able to do it...
At the same time, Pokemon do seem to have more intelligence than any animal Banjou ran into on Earth, but at the same time, his Bibarel still tries to eat inedible things like the pipes.]
[Actually, he's putting the info in the 'Gear so he doesn't forget, but that's not the point!]
You'd better not forget or I'll be mad! Like I said, I tried getting the squids to do this, but they're not useful at all here. So I need someone I can actually go all out against! You're gonna need some training, but you'll be fine eventually!
[...Naki is attempting to make friends okay, he's trying.]

You have a lot of Inkays.
[...very observant, Banjou.]

[Naki please]
Anyway, I hope you've been practicing!

Uh, yeah, I've been practicing.
[In other words no he hasn't.]

Good!! Let's go already!
[Here we go again. Sorry, Banjou.]

How are you so fast.]

because he has nothing better to doso he's been working really hard!!...It also helps that this is his favorite song.]
no subject
He's not terrible, but it's obvious he hasns't actually done this very often.
If Naki's paying attention.]
no subject
You really haven't been practicing, huh?
[He doesn't start the next song right away, instead looking at Banjou with an expression that's most likely kind of terrifying.]
That settles it! We're gonna have to make this a weekly thing! I'm not letting you slack off on this shit!
[I'm so sorry]

It could probably be so much worse, but...]
Er... all right.
[He's not sure he wants to argue when Naki has that look in his eyes.]
no subject
[...Naki, that makes it really obvious that you're not busy...]
no subject
Well, it's not like Banjou is terribly busy. He gives out a few days where he's mostly free.]
I'm sure we could meet up and play more Dance Dance Eeveelution when I'm not busy.

I'm not going to forget.
[He really won't; he's not the sort to blow people off.]
