[It's been a long time since Banjou was last on the network.

He has his same setup from the last time, playing away at his acoustic guitar. This time, he's playing something he probably heard on the radio.]

I have a question, for those of you who have been here a long time. How many Pokemon do you have? Where did you find them and what are their names?

I have a pretty small team, and I'm content with that right now, though I'm sure getting more wouldn't hurt. I'm just curious about everyone else here, especially from those who have been here for years.

I've been here a few months now. I have about 25 now, and they all cover any weakness anyone else in my team has.

That sounds like a good strategy to have, if you're really into battling.

How do you come up with their names?

I am trying to collect every badge from both regions.

I name them after things or people I know. Sometimes I will read about things, and a name will strike me.

I think that's common, naming Pokemon after people, or things they remind you of.

Yes. My sister is doing the same.

It's even more fitting if the Pokémon adapts a demeanor close to what they are named after.

[Maybe he should start naming Pokemon after people...

It's not a bad idea. That sounds cute.

Though there are a few of mine I had to try different names with until they responded to them. They can be stubborn like that.

Really? That's interesting; I've never actually had anything like that happen before.

You must have ended up with some Pokemon who like to give you a hard time.

Dahaka was one. He refused to answer to anything but that. And now... well, he won't even accept a nickname based off of that name.

Does he act like someone you know?

He's a lot more well behaved than his namesake.

No matter how long you've had your Pokémon, I'm sure they'd appreciate a nickname. Try it sometime.

I try to give my Pokemon names they'll be happy to have. So far, it seems to have worked.

If you teach them to read, you can always have them pick out their own as well.

You know, that's not a bad idea.

It takes a lot of patience. I don't know how my sister does it.

[Truthfully, he's not much of a teacher, but he'll try.]

I've heard of Pokemon using the Gears every once in a while. It makes sense now, how they learned.

My Meowstic, Hope, used to take mine to call his sister who belongs to another trainer. A few of mine can read, though not all of them are interested in it. My Altaria isn't.

If something bad happens, you always have something around to call for help for you.

That's a good point.

If someone ever goes camping and runs into trouble, their Pokemon are their best bet.

There's also idiots here who forget to tell other where they are going.
