I have a question, for those of you who have been here a long time. How many Pokemon do you have? Where did you find them and what are their names?

I have a pretty small team, and I'm content with that right now, though I'm sure getting more wouldn't hurt. I'm just curious about everyone else here, especially from those who have been here for years.

[Ahh, music. Madoka hadn't heard anything that wasn't the ever-present BGM of Violet City in what felt like forever. ...Besides what she had heard Wirt play the other day, of course.

The first piece of her reply is mostly just her, sitting in makeshift pajamas, smiling to herself as she listens to Banjou play. It almost seems like that's all it will be, until, apparently, she realizes he asked a question and blushes profusely, caught off-guard. Did she count if she had only been here a month or so...?]

A-ah! Sorry, I, was just... Admiring how well you play... Um...

I-I don't know if I could say I've been here a long time- not years- but, I have four Pokémon, if it counts for anything... I think even that many can be a handful sometimes... There's my Purrloin, and Amy, my little Espurr, and Sandy, my Pidgey-bird, and... Hoppip.

How did you come up with their names?

I don't know how anyone could have more than what they can carry with them... It doesn't seem fair to the others, in my opinion.

Amy is Amy because she reminds me of a kitten who lived as a stray around my hometown... And Sandy kicked up so much sand, it was hard to breathe while we fought the first time. Sometimes she'll use Sand Attack without me telling her to, as well. I'm not exactly the most creative with names...

As you wish. My starter was Rosie, a lovely young Cleffa. She's a caring yet stubborn pink lady, my wife Rosa is a caring yet stubborn woman who likes the color... Once I accepted that a name would be necessary, the best choice was obvious.

[The poor thing still had to wait three weeks, but luckily she's patient.]

Been here nearly five years, and I've got...I lost count, probably around fifty.

I caught a few, got some as eggs, some of them followed me around until I let them stay, but most of them came from other people when they disappeared.

That sounds like a good strategy to have, if you're really into battling.

How do you come up with their names?

I name them after things or people I know. Sometimes I will read about things, and a name will strike me.

Gosh, well...I think I've got around 40 now? And I've been here over a year...but there are a lot of Pokemon I have that used to belong to other folks, too.

Mmm...yeah, I think so. Sometimes when people go home, some of their Pokemon get left behind with other people that they knew. I don't really mind taking care of them, though. I know I'd be lonely if I were in their shoes.

My roster isn't as large as too many people... mostly because I'd rather stick to having at least one of each kind just to make a balanced team. Were you here for the swarms, though?

It's... a lot to handle, and while I'm not saying I hate any of them, I'd say keeping it small's a pretty smart idea.

Definitely lost count at fifty. Most of them I caught myself or were gifts. Then a lot of them just found they liked me so they asked to come with me.
