003 [video;]
[It's been a long time since Banjou was last on the network.
He has his same setup from the last time, playing away at his acoustic guitar. This time, he's playing something he probably heard on the radio.]
I have a question, for those of you who have been here a long time. How many Pokemon do you have? Where did you find them and what are their names?
I have a pretty small team, and I'm content with that right now, though I'm sure getting more wouldn't hurt. I'm just curious about everyone else here, especially from those who have been here for years.

[To be honest, he'd probably accept the stories of someone who has only been here for a little while; Banjou's a pretty chill guy.]
video;
[ But hey, he's here already. ]
My roster isn't as large as too many people... mostly because I'd rather stick to having at least one of each kind just to make a balanced team. Were you here for the swarms, though?
video;
I wasn't here for the swarms, I arrived after they were over.
I... imagine if someone ended up with one of each on top of the Pokemon they already had, that it would get massive quickly.
video;
[ There's a small awkward smile there that should probably tell you that he's one of those whose rosters got massive quickly. ]
It was pretty weird... almost like there was a swarm in every town I ended up in.
video;
It went on for a month, didn't it? That sounds like it must have been impressive to witness.
video;
[ And they were for a while. ]
The pokemon center had this system that allowed people to trade even if they weren't in the same city by sending one pokemon out and receiving another one in its place so you can imagine how almost everyone got a really huge boost to their teams.
video;
[....]
Hopefully something like that doesn't happen again anytime soon.
[The swarm going on currently don't count, of course.]
video;
[ And you can probably tell by the sheepish little grin that there's a punchline to this. ]
And... that's the story of how I went from twelve pokemon to twenty four in the span of a few weeks.
[ There it is. ]
video;
I think I would have done the same thing, to be honest.
Re: video;
[ And a slight ruffle of his own hair. ]
My brother impulsively picked up twelve dedenne when he came back so... you can imagine how some people manage to end up with more pokemon than they think they can handle.
video;
I have a lot of freetime; I've been spending it trying to rain the ones I have equally.
[He's been successful, but Banjou isn't one to brag.]
It's... not for everyone, though.
video;
No... no it isn't. It can be a chore if you aren't patient. All of them have such different personalities and you can't say everyone actually enjoys battling...
[ But that makes him think. ]
How many do you have so far, by the way?
video;
[At least his Pokemon all think it's fun right now. Maybe he'll end up with one who doesn't eventually, though.]
I have twelve.
video;
[ But on a more positive note... ]
Twelve's a good number. Much easier to keep track of. Have you tried doing the gym challenge?
video;
[He'll be That Jerk who has nothing but level 100s for a team.]
video;
[ And a ruffle of his hair. ]
Though I'm thinking of forming a second team... just to keep the challenge present.
video;
I don't know how balanced the ones I currently have are right now, myself.
video;
video;
I'll need to look into more things before I actually take on a gym, though.
